Make-up artist of the ball
Having modelled for several years, Dóra Gräff got to study a more crative side to the beauty industry. She learnt from Hungarian and international masters, worked with renowned fashion companies, and she received international awards. Following the Silver Rose Ball and the Faust Ball she onec again returns to the Opera to assist the Shakespeare Ball.
Having modelled and taken part in several beauty contests she realized she was interested in another, more creative aspect of the beauty industry: the art of make-up. She learnt the basics from Hungarian masters and she got to love the profession. She travelled to New York to improve her skills and to get acquainted with a different point of view presented by make-up artists of another world. Her professional curiosity took her to Monaco and Munich, where she had the chance of working along with the photographer Felix Jung, who took photos of supermodel Naomi Campbell. In 2011 she came first in the MOSZI Budapest Open national make-up competition with her creation inspired by Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky. Beside taking part in competition and studying further she worked for YURKOV FASHION LOUNGE and Yves Saint Laurent as well as leading make-up artist for Budapest Fashion Nights, the oldest fashion event series of Hungary. It gave her the chance of working with Bori Tóth (Maison Marquise), Anikó Németh (Manier), Rózsa Márton and Piroska Végső (Márton – Végső designers) or Imre Stumpf (Stumpf Imre Couture).
